Strathmore is 1-9 against Lindsay since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Spartans will face off against the Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Strathmore let Granite Hills stack four runs on them in the third inning on Thursday but luckily Strathmore prevailed anyway. The Spartans came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 7-4. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lindsay). They blew past Granite Hills 12-1 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Nate Lopez was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Bryan Martinez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Lindsay always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Lindsay's record is now 6-9-1. As for Strathmore, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-12-1.
