Baseball Game Preview: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Mason City Mohawks

The Roosevelt Roughriders are taking a road trip to take on the Mason City Mohawks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Mason City took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Roosevelt, who comes in off a win.

Roosevelt's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over Norwalk. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Meanwhile, Mason City suffered their biggest defeat since June 23rd on Thursday. They came up short against Ames, falling 9-2. The Mohawks' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Mason City's defeat dropped their record down to 20-12. As for Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 10-14.
