Volleyball Recap: Kettle Moraine Lasers vs. Oconomowoc Raccoons
Kettle Moraine and Oconomowoc squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Kettle Moraine had to settle for second. They came up short against the Raccoons, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raccoons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-16.
Kylee Zell paced Kettle Moraine's offense, picking up six kills. Zell got some help from Stella Wilson and her 11 assists. Zell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Jayce Keller was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.
Kettle Moraine's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-22. As for Oconomowoc, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 37-2.
As of now, neither Kettle Moraine nor the Raccoons have any future games scheduled.
