Football Recap: Normangee Takes a Loss

Normangee extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 2-6. They lost 26-6 to the Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 46-28 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Marshall Harris threw for 74 yards on seven of 15 attempts. Kelvin Brooks was his top target, picking up 41 receiving yards. On the ground, Rowan Cotten rushed for 59 yards.

As for Corrigan-Camden, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Considering they have won five matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Corrigan-Camden was led to victory by Derrick Reagie and William Ratliff. Reagie rushed for 216 yards and two scores while picking up 11.4 yards per carry, while Ratliff rushed for 161 yards and one TD while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. Reagie's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 141 rushing yards.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Normangee is set to take on their familiar foe Centerville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Corrigan-Camden will challenge rival Leon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
