Baseball Recap: Eagle Pass Comes Up Short

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Eagle Pass nor United South made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Eagles fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

As for United South, they will venture away from home to challenge Laredo LBJ at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
