Softball Recap: Wynne's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Wynne hadn't done well against Valley View recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Yellowjackets had just enough and edged out the Blazers 5-4. The win was nothing new for the Yellowjackets as they're now sitting on four straight.

Wynne now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Valley View, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wynne will host Heber Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Yellowjackets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Valley View, they will be playing at home against Searcy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
