El Campo is 9-1 against Wharton since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Ricebirds will venture away from home to take on the Tigers at 3:00 p.m. El Campo will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Landon Smith and Alexander Maya scored both of El Campo's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous six matchup, Wharton brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Palacios on Thursday. The score was close at halftime, but Wharton pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Wharton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-11-1. As for El Campo, their win bumped their record up to 10-3-3.

El Campo got the 'W' when the teams last played back in January against Wharton by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ricebirds since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
