Soccer Preview: Gadsden vs. Hatch Valley
On Monday Gadsden will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to square off against the Hatch Valley Bears at 7:00 p.m. Gadsden is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.7 goals per game this season.
While Gadsden didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Ruidoso by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly two goals.

Gadsden pushed their record up to 6-2 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Hatch Valley, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
Gadsden was able to grind out a solid win over Hatch Valley in their previous matchup back in September of 2023, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gadsden since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
