East Hamilton had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Hixson Wildcats 43-14 on Friday. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Jaden Haywood went supernova, rushing for 175 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 53 yards. Grayson Maddox got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

East Hamilton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Maddox picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
