Chaparral won the last time they faced Xavier Prep and things went their way on Friday too. The Pumas came out on top against the Saints by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chaparral took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14.

Chaparral can attribute much of their success to Shay Roddy, who had 11 digs.

Chaparral's record now sits at 6-9. As for Xavier Prep, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-4.
