Soccer Recap: Lakeland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lakeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pittston Patriots. While losing is never fun, Lakeland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 385th, while Pittston are ranked 177th).

Lakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Pittston, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeland will venture away from home to face off against Carbondale Area at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pittston, they will head out to square off against Wilkes-Barre at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
