Basketball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Parker Broncs and fell 89-61. While losing is never fun, the Dust Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Broncs are ranked 114th).

River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Parker, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River Valley will host Odyssey Institute at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Odyssey Institute has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Parker, they will be playing at home against ALA - West Foothills at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
