Volleyball Recap: Dwyer Takes a Loss

Dwyer saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Fort Lauderdale Flying L by a score of 2-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Dwyer sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-21, 21-25, 15-10.

Leading Fort Lauderdale to victory were Aedan Jones and Thomas Ferner. Jones had ten digs, while Ferner had nine digs and one assist. Those ten digs gave Jones a new career-high.

Dwyer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Fort Lauderdale, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Dwyer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Seminole Ridge on the 23rd. As for Fort Lauderdale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Cardinal Gibbons on the 23rd.
