Basketball Recap: Johnson City Comes Up Short

Johnson City has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Goldthwaite Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Johnson City this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 39-29 back in January.

Johnson City's loss dropped their record down to 25-8. As for Goldthwaite, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 24-9.

As of now, neither Johnson City nor Goldthwaite have any future games scheduled.
