Baseball Recap: Hermitage Takes a Loss

If Hermitage was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of John Marshall on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers lost 14-3 to the Glen Allen Jaguars on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Jaguars: they've now lost eight in a row.

Hermitage saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Legano, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Noah Dabney also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Hermitage's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Glen Allen, their record now sits at 9-4.

Coming up, Hermitage will square off against Meadowbrook at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Monarchs at the right time seeing as the Monarchs are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Glen Allen, they will challenge Matoaca at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
