St. Luke entered their tilt with Harvey on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cavaliers a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Storm have won three games by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Luke's got a great performance from Matt Staub as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched.

At the plate, David Carioto was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Brennan Fila also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

St. Luke's pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Harvey, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, St. Luke's will square off against Winchendon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Harvey, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Greens Farms Academy at 4:15 p.m. The Cavaliers are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
