Basketball Recap: KIPP Tulsa University Prep Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only KIPP Tulsa University Prep walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Casady Cyclones 61-59.

Casady's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was James Elder, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Elder is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jack Lee, who posted seven points and five assists.

KIPP Tulsa University Prep is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. Casady is on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-23.

As of now, neither KIPP Tulsa University Prep nor Casady have any future games scheduled.
