Baseball Recap: El Toro Chargers vs. San Juan Hills Stallions
El Toro lost against San Juan Hills last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chargers lost 9-1 to the Stallions. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
El Toro saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Broesamle, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.
El Toro's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for San Juan Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Toro will take on Citrus Valley in a tournament on Saturday. As for San Juan Hills, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lakewood at 3:00 p.m. on the 16th.
