Suggested Video

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Nitro had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They blew past the Shady Spring Tigers 41-7. Considering the Wildcats have won eight matchups by more than 28 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Josh Moody, who threw for 324 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a rushing score. Malachi Thompson was Moody's top target, picking up 147 receiving yards.

Nitro wouldn't let Shady Spring keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Nitro can thank Lyric Berger and Charles Cantrell for forcing both of them.

The win (which was Nitro's eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.1 points per game. As for Shady Spring, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1.

As of now, neither Nitro nor Shady Spring have any future games scheduled.
