Malibu came tearing into Thursday's game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bishop Diego Cardinals. This was payback for the Sharks, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 23-25, 25-21.

Malibu's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7. As for Bishop Diego, their loss dropped their record down to 17-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Malibu will square off against Nordhoff at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop Diego, they will head out to face off against Wiseburn- Da Vinci at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
