Greeneview waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Newton Local Indians as they made off with a 5-1 victory. Mya Simpson was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Greeneview's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Newton Local, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greeneview will host Madison Plains at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newton Local, they will be playing in front of their home fans against National Trail at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Newton Local their first taste of in-conference action this season.
