Football Game Preview: Mt. Abraham vs. North Country Union

North Country Union will challenge Mt. Abraham on the road at 1:00 PM on Saturday. North Country Union are the favorites in this one -- although they were the favorites in their last game, too, so the odds might count for a little less.

The match between North Country Union and Champlain Valley Union last Saturday was not a total blowout, but with North Country Union falling 14-30, it was darn close. This makes it the second defeat in a row for North Country Union.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Mt. Abraham, and their match last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to three. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-46 punch to the gut against Bellows Falls.

North Country Union took their contest against Mt. Abraham the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 34-6 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Country Union since the team won't have home-field advantage.
