Recap: Faith Christian vs. Glencoe
Sadly, the Faith Christian Lions are still looking for their first win of the season after six games. They suffered a rough 7-0 loss at the hands of Glencoe on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Faith Christian of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.
Faith Christian's season is starting to look like last year's as the team currently sits at an 0-6 record this season. As for Glencoe, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1-1.
Faith Christian will head out on the road to face off against Coosa Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Glencoe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Donoho at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glencoe knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Donoho likes a good challenge.
