Volleyball Game Preview: Northridge Knights vs. Roy Royals

Northridge is a perfect 10-0 against Roy since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Knights will look to defend their home court against the Royals at 6:00 p.m. Northridge is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Last Tuesday, Northridge made easy work of Bonneville and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Northridge won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 25-16.

Sailor Farner was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven matches.

Meanwhile, Roy came up short against Fremont on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-6, 25-17.

Northridge's win bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Roy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-15.

Northridge took their victory against Roy in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Royals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
