Soccer Recap: Middletown Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Middletown was not quite Trinity's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Shamrocks by a score of 1-0.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 9-5-2. As for Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season.

Middletown will face off against Palmyra at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Bishop McDevitt on the 11th.
