Softball Recap: Cardinal O'Hara Lions vs. Archbishop Carroll Patriots

Cardinal O'Hara gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Archbishop Carroll Patriots. Hayden Sissons was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those doubles were her first of the season.

In other batting news, Emily Dill was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-4. She also scored two runs, marking her first of the season. Lindsey Cathers was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
