Dinwiddie strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Hopewell Blue Devils, posting a 42-7 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Generals' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked third, while the Blue Devils are ranked 138th).

Leading Dinwiddie to victory were Zion Boisseau and Joshua Adams. Boisseau threw for 276 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Adams gained 137 total yards. Boisseau is also crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Dinwiddie didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Hopewell to a completion percentage of just 50%. The Generals weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 62.5%.

Dinwiddie's record now sits at 6-0. As for Hopewell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dinwiddie will face off against rival Petersburg at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Generals 6.8, the Crimson Wave 11.2) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Hopewell is set to take on their familiar foe Colonial Heights at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
