Football Recap: Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau Comes Up Short

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Luther Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Hawks of the 13-8 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Luther, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau is set to challenge their familiar foe Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Luther will square off against rival Black River Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
