Softball Recap: Princeton Vikings vs. Lakota West Firebirds
Princeton had lost seven straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 1-11 to make it eight. They lost 11-1 to the Lakota West Firebirds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Firebirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-2 last Tuesday.
As for Lakota West, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games.
