Basketball Game Preview: Southwestern Warriors vs. Montgomery County Indians

The Southwestern Warriors and the Montgomery County Indians will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Southwestern is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.1 points per game this season.

Southwestern saw some tournament action on Monday. They lost 54-29 to Notre Dame Academy. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Southwestern saw an underclassman step up: freshman Mckaila Monroe posted eight points along with six boards and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for Monroe.

Meanwhile, Montgomery County waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Golden Lions by a score of 67-55.

Southwestern now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Montgomery County, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
