While Bigelow's win against Sacred Heart wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Rebels on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Julia Bourne spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Addyson Jordan and Jaiden Mayo did most of the damage at the plate: Jordan went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Mayo went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Hana Staples was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Bigelow now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Sacred Heart, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.

Bigelow has already played their next matchup, a 4-3 win against South Side on the 18th. As for Sacred Heart, they will head out to take on Guy-Perkins at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels are facing the Thunderbirds at the right time seeing as the Thunderbirds are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
