Preview: West Hills vs. Valhalla
The West Hills Wolf Pack will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against the Valhalla Norsemen at 7:00 p.m.
On Thursday, West Hills came up short against Steele Canyon and fell 3-1. West Hills has struggled against Steele Canyon recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Valhalla was able to grind out a solid win over Santana on Thursday, taking the game 3-1.
Valhalla was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Matthew Svoboda and
Yousuf Arabo, who scored all three of Valhalla's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 15 so far this season.
West Hills' loss dropped their record down to 5-11-2. As for Valhalla, the victory got them back to even at 8-8-4.
West Hills beat Valhalla by a goal when the teams last played back in January, winning 1-0. Does West Hills have another victory up their sleeve, or will Valhalla turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
