Soccer Recap: Lehi Comes Up Short

Lehi and Copper Hills squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lehi had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lehi of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2016.

Lehi's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Copper Hills, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Lehi does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Copper Hills, they will challenge American Fork at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Copper Hills' defense better be ready for this one: American Fork have averaged an impressive 3.3 goals per game this season.
