Soccer Recap: Braswell Takes a Loss

Braswell's tournament run continued when they took on Plano East on Saturday. 2025 welcomed the Braswell Bengals with a 6-2 loss courtesy of the Plano East Panthers. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nick Ybarra and Jean Izquiel scored both of Braswell's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Braswell now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Plano East, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Braswell will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Nimitz at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plano East, they will take on Martin in a tournament on Thursday.
