Oldenburg Academy came tearing into Tuesday's match with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Twisters have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Oldenburg Academy never let Jac-Cen-Del on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-23, 25-12.

Rachel Suttmann paced Oldenburg Academy's offense, picking up 14 kills. Suttmann got some help from Lydia Ehrhard and her 13 assists. Bridgette Ehrhard controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Oldenburg Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Jac-Cen-Del, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oldenburg Academy will host South Dearborn at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jac-Cen-Del, they will take on Switzerland County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
