Softball Recap: Huntington North Takes a Loss

Huntington North couldn't beat Heritage on Friday even though they stacked six runs on them in the second inning. The Vikings fell 13-9 to the Patriots. The Vikings' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Huntington North saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chey Catellier, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another was Serenidy Mitchem, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Huntington North's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Heritage, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-10 record.

Looking ahead, Huntington North will challenge Fort Wayne Wayne at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
