It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Farmington ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the North County Raiders 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won three in a row.

Aiden Redmond was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Jackson McDowell was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted over his last nine games. Tatem Tinsley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Farmington's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for North County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farmington will square off against Valle Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North County, they will take on Arcadia Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
