Cincinnatus Central is 7-2 against Brookfield Central since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Beavers at 4:30 p.m. Cincinnatus Central will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Cincinnatus Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Madison Central 13-1 on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Hanna Ellerson was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That double was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Payton Gerrard, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Cincinnatus Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .724. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Brookfield Central fell victim to McGraw and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 9-0 to the Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Beavers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Cincinnatus Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Brookfield Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Cincinnatus Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Brookfield Central when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Beavers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
