Volleyball Game Preview: Perkins Pirates vs. Bellevue Redmen

Perkins is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Bellevue is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Pirates will welcome the Redmen at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bellevue took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Perkins, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Perkins got the win against Sandusky by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Perkins took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-7, 25-10.

Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, Bellevue's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against Columbian, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Redmen haven't been shut out since back in August.

Bellevue was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17, 25-17.

Perkins' win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Bellevue, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.
