Softball Recap: Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack vs. Franklin Wildcats

Cosumnes Oaks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of the Franklin Wildcats by a score of 7-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cosumnes Oaks of the 6-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.

Marisol Gomez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with five RBI, a stolen base, and a double. Mya Wilson was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
