Football Recap: Hart Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hart extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 2-3. They fell 29-18 to the North Muskegon Norsemen. The Pirates lost against the Norsemen in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 42-6 score last time.

When it comes to explaining why Hart lost, don't look at Kyle Greiner. Despite the final result, he rushed for 130 yards and one touchdown.

As for North Muskegon, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.3 points over those games.

North Muskegon was led to victory by Cullen Bartos and Hunter Wilder. Bartos gained 151 total yards, while Wilder rushed for 56 yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave Wilder a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two).

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hart will welcome Mason County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Muskegon, they will face off against Montague at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
