Soccer Game Preview: Nease vs. Matanzas + How To Watch

The Nease Panthers will square off against the Matanzas Pirates at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday. Nease's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Nease is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Tocoi Creek on Friday. Neither the Panthers nor the Toros could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The outcome might've been different if John Archer hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Meanwhile, Matanzas kept a clean sheet against First Baptist Christian Academy on Friday. They put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 8-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Matanzas.

Matanzas now has a winning record of 2-1-1. With that draw, Nease's record moves to 1-1-1.
