Basketball Recap: DeKalb Takes a Loss

DeKalb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Osborn Wildcats, falling 84-17. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 83-20 back in December of 2024.

DeKalb's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Osborn, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

DeKalb has already played their next contest, an 84-17 defeat against Stewartsville on the 13th. As for Osborn, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Osborn Wildcats face off against the Mound City Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st.
