Soccer Recap: Rye Neck Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Rye Neck after they claimed the first goal on Monday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Rye Garnets by a score of 2-1.

Rye Neck's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Rye, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1-1.

Rye Neck will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hastings at 4:30 p.m. on the 26th. As for Rye, they will host Eastchester at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
