Volleyball Recap: Burton Takes a Loss

Burton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins. The Pumas were not able to make up for their loss to the Bruins from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Burton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-17 record.

Burton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Galileo at 5:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Quarry Lane on the 12th.
