Softball Recap: Waller Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Waller and Tomball squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Waller had to settle for second. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 on Thursday.

MaKenzie Dillon was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Waller and nudges their season record down to 9-19. As for Tomball, the win (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 26-3.

As of now, neither Waller nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
