Baseball Recap: Johnsonburg Comes Up Short

Johnsonburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 15-1 to the Port Allegany Gators. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 two weeks ago.

Johnsonburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Port Allegany, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Johnsonburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Port Allegany, they will host Coudersport at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Gators' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
