Final Top 50 Texas high school football passing leaders

The 2019 high school football season has come to a close in Texas but we are reliving it by looking back at the state's passing leaders.

According to statistics submitted by MaxPreps, Eddie Lee Marburger of Pioneer tops our list with 4,505 yards. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound junior threw 58 touchdown passes against just five interceptions in only 13 games.

Marburger finished the season by throwing for 596 yards in a playoff loss to Boerne-Champion.

A pair of sophomores already on the radar of Power Five conference programs also finished in the Top 10. Braedyn Locke of Rockwall finished with 4,305 yards and 52 touchdown passes while Quinn Ewers of Southlake Carroll piled up 4,003 yards and 45 touchdowns against just three interceptions.
