Waco's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Midway 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Meanwhile, Wyatt earned a 2-0 win over Diamond Hill-Jarvis on Saturday. Given the Chaparrals' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Eagles are ranked 141st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got Waco back to even at 2-2-2. As for Wyatt, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
