Hastings came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points), and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 54-40 victory over the Marshall Redhawks. That's more bragging rights for the Saxons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hastings' record is now 5-1. As for Marshall, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
